“This month I have two nuggets of wisdom to share with you. An End of Season Review should be one of the most important dates in your diary. Setting aside a specific time with your Management and Estates team to review how your venue performed over the summer is an excellent way to understand ‘what went well’ for example the furniture you placed in the hot spots around your property was well used and well received by visitors. Verses ‘what could have been better’ perhaps, you didnt have enough parasols during the summer heatwave and as a result were unable to offer the level of sun shelter required by your visitors. Now is the perfect time to be thinking about family food for the Half Term Holidays. By the end of October the weather will be colder and visitors will be seeking something hot and satisfying to eat. Street style Cabins and wagons serving jacket potatoes, hot dogs and mini fish and chips will be sure winners and ensure customers are spending money at your venue.
