Hardwearing Products

What you need to consider

  • What’s your customer type – how will they treat the furniture
  • Are you a high-frequency venue
  • How often will you clean the table tops
  • The ground surface the furniture is placed on
  • Weather exposure – are you a coastal location
  • Do you have a shelter the furniture will be placed under
  • Will the furniture be put away over winter
  • Do you need stacking furniture for storage

What to look for

Robustness of the furniture;

  • Thickness of the wood, metal or plastic
  • How heavy duty are the fixtures
  • What is the protector treatment on the furniture surface

How long should furniture last for?

We source furniture to last at least 5-10 years in a commercial hospitality environment. Some of the budget ranges will only last between 1-3 years and it will depend if you treat them with protector and wood preserve treatments.

We offer lots of advice on our website for maintenance, treatment and tips for how to dry out wood and tighten fixings.
